Hemodialysis

Özel Çukurova Dialysis Center

Hemodialysis

It is the process of cleaning the blood outside the body through a machine and semi-permeable membrane and giving it back to the body.

The following practices are used to provide the high blood flow required for hemodialysis treatment:

Permanent vascular access applications:

  • Arteriovenous fistula (AVF)
  • Tunnel indwelling catheter
  • Arteriovenous graft

Temporary vascular access applications:

  • They are double lumen catheters that are applied to the subclavian, femoral and jugular veins according to the insertion site. Treatments administered in this way should be short term. Otherwise, the chances of getting an infection are high.

Why Hemodialysis in a Private Center?

Doctor and nurse staff who will intervene against possible symptoms of the disease are present throughout the treatment.

During the hemodialysis treatment period, the vital signs of the patient are periodically checked and recorded.

With the emergency response equipment, medicine and emergency response team in the center, the patient is immediately intervened in a possible emergency.

By regularly measuring, recording and monitoring clinical findings, patients receive the best possible treatment.

During the hemodialysis treatment, a nurse responsible for the care of each patient and auxiliary staff take part.

It is ensured that the existing diseases other than CKD are diagnosed and followed up by the relevant specialist physicians in a timely manner.
